Policy brief & purpose

Our Consultant Code of Conduct policy outlines our expectations regarding Consultants’ behavior towards their colleagues, supervisors, clients, and overall organization.

We promote freedom of expression and open communication. But we expect all Consultants to follow our code of conduct. They should avoid offending, participating in serious disputes and disrupting our workplace. We also expect them to foster a well-organized, respectful, and collaborative environment.

Scope

This policy applies to all our Consultants regardless of agreement or rank.

Policy elements

What are the components of a Consultant Code of Conduct Policy?

Excelsius Capital Group Consultants are bound by this contract to follow our Consultant Code of Conduct while performing their duties. We outline the components of our Code of Conduct below:

Compliance with law

All Consultants must protect our company’s legality. They should comply with all environmental, safety and fair dealing laws. We expect Consultants to be ethical and responsible when dealing with our company’s finances, products, partnerships, clients, and public image. Furthermore, we expect all Consultants to treat our clients with the highest level of respect and to hold the protection of a clients assets as the paramount focus of any discussion, agreement, evaluation, or other service that might be provided.

Respect in the workplace

All Consultants should respect their colleagues. We won’t allow any kind of discriminatory behavior, harassment or victimization. Consultants should conform with our equal opportunity policy in all aspects of their work, from recruitment and performance evaluation to interpersonal relations.

Protection of Company Property

All Consultants should treat our company’s property, whether material or intangible, with respect and care.

Consultants:

Consultants should protect company facilities and other material property (e.g. company cars) from damage and vandalism, whenever possible.

Professionalism

All Consultants must show integrity and professionalism in the workplace:

All Consultants must represent themselves in a professional manner with proper dress and personal appearance when dealing with clients, colleagues, and/or executing video calls.

We discourage Consultants from accepting gifts from clients or partners. We prohibit briberies for the benefit of any external or internal party.

All Consultants should fulfill their duties with integrity and respect toward clients, stakeholders, and the community. Team leaders and managers mustn’t abuse their authority. We expect them to delegate duties to their team members taking into account their competences and workload. Likewise, we expect team members to follow team leaders’ instructions and complete their duties with skill and in a timely manner.

We encourage mentoring throughout our company.

We expect Consultants to avoid any personal, financial, or other interests that might hinder their capability or willingness to perform their duties. This includes, but is not limited to, utilizing resources, contacts, associations, etc. gained or nurtured through Excelsius Capital Group for private again unless expressly authorized by Excelsius Capital Group leadership.

Consultants should be friendly and collaborative. They should try not to disrupt the workplace or present obstacles to their colleagues’ work.

All Consultants must be open for communication with their colleagues, team leaders,  and/or team members.

We expect Consultants to not abuse their association benefits. This can refer to name recognition, insurance, facilities, subscriptions, or other benefits our company offers. To be explicit, Consultants are expected to only utilize their connection with Excelsius Capital Group to work with clients desirous of working with Excelsius Capital Group, and should not recommend other companies/programs that are outside of Excelsius Capital Group’s offerings unless expressly authorized by the leadership of Excelsius Capital Group.

Disciplinary actions

Our company may have to take disciplinary action against Consultants who repeatedly or intentionally fail to follow our code of conduct. Disciplinary actions will vary depending on the violation.

We may take legal action in cases of corruption, theft, embezzlement, or other unlawful behavior.
